Kosher food is available in prisons throughout the tri-state area thanks to the heroic efforts of Dror. Gracious donors donate the food, and Dror does weekly pickups of fresh-tasting food and delivers it to the prisons. The vending machines at the prisons are replenished weekly with Kosher food. For Shabbos and special Jewish holidays, an extra delicacy will be added to the menu. When one is so far away from home, delicious kosher food takes on a new meaning and provides at least a morsel of comfort.
